A phrase a line
A space in time
All to thwart our trust
A re-election speech
That they beseech
Which we find so much disgust
There antics are to gain a seat
Of power and to reign
To guide a lot of ignorant souls
And their bank accounts they drain
In as much the lies they tell
And in speeches they refrain
To actually tell the truth for once
And risk a monetary gain
To bury the true intent
Of which they so expound
They hire lawyers to word their phrases
To the voters they confound
When the nest is full of liars
The politicians proudly sit
At there desks in leather chairs
And feed us full of s**t.
