Who, Me?

I\’d like to meet my true self

Just once to say hello

And ask him if he really thought

About the things I know

To find out if his mind just wanders

Or does he stop and think

About the repercussions of

His actions I feel stink

Its perposterous to ask

And bias I\’d have to say

To know the answer that I seek

Is in him and will stay

To question his integrity

Or be embarrassed by his gall

T\’is not for me to question him

T\’is not for me at all

I am here to help him

Inept as he may seem

T\’is not my place to judge his acts

For to him I am but a dream

His conscious I can clearly read

And to me this brings disgust

But t\’is not me that will endure

All his friends\’ mistrust

My heart goes out to this silly fool

For his course in life has told

Of all the downfalls he has faced

And his future will unfold.
