The dawn is sponsored by our sun
And a childs wishes grew
Awaiting for the moment when
The sun has dried the dew
A peaceful moment for a mom
The times they are so few
When children play out in the yard
But must remain in view
Her moments are spent
In tears and joy
And relaxing times are few
She listens for the childs cry
If shes not in view
She trembles at the thought of when
A little one skins a knee
When playing in the neighbors yard
And falls out of their tree
Peaceful moments are so few
While raising a group of three
And all of them have played with joy
And fallen from that tree
After dinner dishes are done
She stops to clear her head
To sit and think of all the kids
After they are in bed
She is making a list
Of band aids and creams
To doctor all those knees
And plotting on a little plan
