Sitting alongside the road one day
I spied me a bullfrog hopping my way
He didn’t have time to say his piece
But what he did say to my relief was this
Don’t mess around on the road of life
Its full of chuck holes and full of strife
And if you need proof attesting these facts
Its in an empty set of bullfrog tracks
Cause he hopped on down the road
And stopped to visit his cousin the toad
Not paying mind and chatting with his host
A semi comes along and flattened them both
Some lessons in life shouldn’t be ignored
Like the sound of a semi, that’s just been floored
And you sitting chatting with your cousin a toad
And not paying attention in the middle of the road.
